Now the patient zero – which means the infected person who caused the disease – is said to have been found. This is reported by Public and Racket. The agency speaks of “significant new evidence” and refers to “several US government officials”.
Patient zero is therefore the scientist Ben Hu, who is said to have worked in the Wuhan laboratory where the corona virus is believed to have broken out. He is said to have researched how viruses could be made even more infectious.
According to the report, Hu worked in the team of Shi Zhengli, who is also called “bat woman” because of her job. “He was her star student,” the agency quotes a Harvard molecular biologist as saying. “Hu had made Sars-like viruses (Sars is a serious infectious disease of the respiratory tract that is also transmitted by bats, editor’s note) and tested them on mice. If I had to guess who is most at risk of accidentally contracting this risky viral research, it would be him.”
According to US government circles, there is now no longer any doubt that Corona accidentally escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). One of the sources is “100 percent” certain that Ben Hu and two other scientists – Yu Ping and Yan Zhu – developed symptoms in the fall of 2019 that later became characteristic of the infectious disease Covid-19.
Spicy: There is a video from Chinese state television from December 2017 that documents Ben Hu’s work and the activities of other colleagues in the WIV. All shown wear no protective gear.
