Wednesday, October 19, a few days before the All Saints holidays, tourism professionals are worried about the shortage of fuel. David Boéri takes stock of the 12/13 set.

With the shortage of fuel, the All Saints holidays are threatened. “Faced with the risk of running out of fuel, more and more French people actually prefer to cancel their trip”, details David Boéri, present on the set of 12/13, Wednesday, October 19. Cancellations would be close to the 30% mark. “We are very far from the attendance records recorded this summer, whereas the trend until then had been rather very good”continues the journalist.

A specialized rental platform between individuals also shows that reservation requests have fallen by nearly 19% compared to 2021. “When we look in detail, the South Atlantic zone shows the strongest decline: minus 37% (…) followed by the Languedoc region, with minus 30%, or Vendée, with minus 29%”, explains David Boéri. The French can still take the train and the cities served by TGV see their reservations on the rise.
