Fortunately, no one was injured, and no suspects have been arrested yet. The incident has been labeled as attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences, though it is unclear what kind of weapon was used. However, Martin stated that it was a serious weapon, ruling out the possibility of it being an air gun or something similar. Initially, the area surrounding the residence was closed off, but it was reopened at 4 am the following morning.

– We received an alarm at 22.45 after a resident noted that something, which could be a shot, had gone through a glass pane. When we were on site, we could ascertain that it was a shooting, says Peter Martin, officer on duty at the police.

No one was injured in the shooting and no one is in custody or a suspect.

The incident is classified as attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences. According to Peter Martin, it is still too early to say what type of weapon may have been fired.

– But it is enough that we know that it is a serious weapon crime and therefore not an air weapon or something else that was used.

An area around the residence was initially cordoned off, but at 4 o’clock on Thursday morning the cordons were lifted.
