In the early hours of Sunday morning, a fire broke out and three fire stations were called for assistance. Both Norrköping stations and the part-time station in Krokek responded to the call. Martin Eriksson, the officer on duty, confirmed that smoke divers were used since the rescue service used both internal and external extinguishing methods. The fire required the assistance of a total of 18 firefighters and 8 vehicles. Despite heavy smoke and significant damage to the villa, the emergency services succeeded in preventing the fire from spreading beyond the site of the incident. Although the walls of the house remained intact, the villa itself was completely destroyed.
The alarm came at two o’clock in the morning on Sunday and three fire stations were called.
