Burgaz residents will have their say on how to redevelop the space around the “Mladost” hall in the “Slaveikov” complex. The first meeting, at which everyone will be able to state their preferences, is on Saturday, September 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is part of the ambitious “Young Cities” project led by the Burgas municipality. It is organized with the support and partnership of “BG Be Active”.
The goal is also to collect opinions that will contribute to shaping the vision for the “Mladost” sports hall and its adjacent areas. Thus, it will become not only a sports center, but also a place for communication.
Using the “Placemaking” approach, the initial ideas for the surrounding areas and the interior of the hall will be presented to the residents of Burgas. The expectations are that it will become not only a modern sports facility, but also a space for social and cultural activities. Through “Dot Democracy”, everyone will have the opportunity to express their preferences and contribute to the development of this important project.
