Malayalam’s great music composer Devarajan’s video as a tribute to the master is winning the hearts of fans. The song titled ‘Devamrutam’ was brought to the audience by Manorama Music. Singer Madhu Balakrishnan and ONV Kurup’s granddaughter and singer Aparna Rajeev have sung the song. Rajeev ONV composed the tune for the song. Expatriate writer and lyricist Methil Satheesan penned the lyrics for the song.
‘Devamritham’ has been noticed in a short time. Good responses are also being received. The melody is composed in such a way as to remind one of the times and practices of Devarajan master’s evergreen songs. Respect for Bhaskaran Master, Sreekumaran Thambi, ONV Kurup, KJ Yesudas, Jayachandran, S. Janaki, P. Sushila and Madhuri is also evident in the lyrics.
