jpnn.comJAKARTA – PDI-P politician Mohamad Guntur Romli admitted that he was increasingly convinced that the determination of the suspect PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) was a political order.

Moreover, he said, after Effendi Simbolon’s statement emerged asking Megawati Soekarnoputri to resign from the position of PDIP General Chair.

This is a form of accountability for Hasto’s suspect status.

“We are increasingly convinced that the naming of the Secretary General as a suspect is a political order, and as a way to pressure Ms. Megawati to resign,” said Guntur Romli via messaging service, Wednesday (8/1).

After all, said Guntur Romli, Effendi’s statement asking Megawati to resign was made after the former Commission I legislator met the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia who was former PDIP cadre Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

“Effendi Simbolon just met Jokowi, maybe that was the result of their meeting when they both fired the PDI Perjuangan,” he said.

Guntur Romli considers Megawati’s statement about there being parties who want to disrupt the party to be true after Effendi’s statement came out.

“So, what Mrs. Megawati said on December 12 is true, there are those who want to disrupt the party,” he said.
