The number of corona victims in Pakistan has crossed 400 for the second day in a row. In the last 24 hours, 435 new cases have been confirmed. Of the 2 who died, 94 are being treated in intensive care.
In this situation, the Pakistan Air Transport Authority has said that the mask is mandatory for passengers on domestic flights. Corona prevention guidelines have also been re-enacted.
The corona virus acts like a roller coaster, said Dr Javed Akram, vice-chancellor of the Pakistan University of Health Sciences.
He therefore stressed the need to re-enforce the restrictions. He also noted that vaccines have now lost their effectiveness as the corona virus continues to evolve.
