Chief Minister Stalin has ordered the extension of corona restrictions in Tamil Nadu till February 15.
According to a press release issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Government Order No.25, in order to control the spread of corona infection in Tamil Nadu, dated 07-01-2022 with various restrictions from 10.00 pm to 10.00 pm on weekdays.
The night curfew lasts until 5.00 pm and the full curfew is in effect on Sundays.

In Tamil Nadu, a consultative meeting was held on 27-1-2022 under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister to review the control measures and control of corona disease. 1. Public gatherings such as community, cultural and political gatherings will continue to be banned.
2. Follow the standard guidelines issued by the State Election Commission regarding the conduct of urban local elections.
3. Kindergartens (Play Schools), Nursery Schools (LKG, UKG) are not allowed to operate.
4. Exhibitions are not allowed.
5. All art festivals conducted by government and private are not allowed.
6. Only 50% of customers dine in restaurants, pubs, apartments, hostels and lodges

7. Marriage and wedding related events will be allowed to be held with a maximum of 100 persons only.
8. Death-related events will not be allowed for more than 50 persons.
9. Owners of clothing and jewelry stores are requested to ensure that no more than 50% of customers are operating at a time.
10. Gymnasiums, sports and restaurants in clubs will be allowed to operate with up to 50% of customers at a time.
11. Gymnasiums and yoga training centers will be allowed to operate with up to 50% of clients at a time.
12. Act with a maximum of 50% audience in seats allowed in all theaters (Multiplex / Cinemas / Theaters)

13. Sports competitions will be allowed in indoor stadiums with 50% spectators following standard guidelines. It is not forbidden to conduct regular exercises.
14. Seminars, music, drama, etc. held in all indoor arenas with a maximum of 50% audience

15. Beauty salons and salons (Beauty Parlor, Salons and Spas) will be allowed to operate with 50% of customers at a time.
16. All amusement / amusement parks, except water sports, are allowed to operate with 50% of customers following Corona guidelines.
