A 3-year-old toddler was found today (Friday) in a locked vehicle in the locality of Elyakim, in the Azrit Megiddo Council. An MDA team that arrived at the scene, found him in critical condition and performed resuscitation operations on him.

At 17:22, a report was received at MDA’s 101 hotline in the Carmel area, about a child who was in a closed vehicle while he was unconscious.
MDA paramedic Roi Peer said: “This is a very serious tragedy. We saw a 3-year-old toddler near the car, unconscious, without breathing and without a pulse with a heat stroke. To the hospital while resuscitation operations continue. “
MDA paramedic Shmuel Kahalani, who lives nearby, added: “My neighbors called me from home while calling from MDA, I ran to the scene with the medical equipment, the toddler was already out of the car after being rescued by the neighbors and lay unconscious, breathless and without “Pulse, we cooled it and started resuscitation operations, it is a difficult and very sad event.”
