Movie Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj starring Vijay. The film was released in theaters on the eve of Pongal and attracted a lot of attention. The film stars Vijay alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Arjun Das, Andrea, Malvika Mohanan, Chandanu Bhagyaraj, Nasser, Sanjeev, Srinath, Sreeman among others. The film was critically and commercially acclaimed.
Following the success of the film, Vijay starred in Beast directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar, who directed Kolamau Kokila and Doctor films. The recently released film received mixed reviews. Vijay is currently starring in ‘Vamsi Paidipally’ directed by ‘Doha’. Filming has recently started and is in full swing in Hyderabad. In this, Rashmika Mandana is paired with Vijay.
Recently, it was reported that Vijay will be teaming up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj again in Commander 67. This has now been confirmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
