TRENTO. The Provincial Council of Trento approved the bill with 33 votes in favor and one abstention, with the first signature of the city planning councilor Mattia Gottardion the work residencywhich provides the recovery of abandoned hotels to ensure hospitality to seasonal workers and collaborators. The text provides for the construction of temporary works for the housing of seasonal workers in the agricultural sector (to be removed upon termination within a period of no more than 180 days) and the recovery of abandoned accommodation facilities.
The change of intended use will be permitted by the Municipality upon request of the interested parties through a simplified variation to the Prg, with a destination restriction explicitly referring to the hospitality of the workers. The bill, which integrates the provincial law for the government of the territory of 2015, updating the urban planning provisions, has been modified to overcome the obstructionism announced by the minorities.
