Dallas∙ Asia-Pacific Region Church of God has elected Rev. Johnson Tarakan (USA) as Vice President. He has been serving as the President of the Church of God in South India for the past 10 years.

Johnson Tarakan (USA) was unanimously elected Vice President at a meeting attended by representatives of the Church of God from 23 countries in the Asia-Pacific region on October 24 in South Korea. Rev. Gwibyeong Moon (South Korea) as President, Brother Alan Lo (Taiwan) as Secretary, Rev. Edmund Lang (Hong Kong) and Brother Noriyuki Haihara (Japan) and Brother Marlin (Philippines) were also elected as executive members. The term of this committee is three years

Rev. Johnson Tharakan, who was elected as the Vice President, holds degrees in Law and Science and Post Graduate Degrees in Sociology and Theology. The late Rev. Chengannur. He resides at Tarakan Bungalow in Dallas Rowla, Texas and leads the church activities in Kochi Ecclesia, the headquarters of the Church of God in South India.
