“We strictly deny the information that appeared in the media that the mentioned spare parts are of military use. These are parts intended for the maintenance of food production equipment, which are used for the technical support of our food industry equipment and have never been resold outside of the “Vičiūnai” group of companies,” says Vilma Veverskė, the company’s communications manager, in a comment sent to Elta.

This investigation is organized and controlled by the prosecutors of the Criminal Prosecution Department of the Klaipėda District Prosecutor’s Office. The investigation is carried out by the officers of the Klaipėda Division of the Customs Criminal Service.
