But then everyone in the stadium saw a sight that made all Lithuanians hold their breath. A. Palšytė tried to overcome the 192 cm bar, but she failed. Shaking off her failure, she made a second attempt. It was unsuccessful, and A. Palšytė rushed to the medics.
After talking with them, the athlete showed determination and tried a third time. He was also unsuccessful.
After a moment, A.Palšytė was crying and holding her painful knee.
