Last night (Saturday night) was broadcast on the network 13 finals of the VIP season of survival, Which was won by contestant Ella Eibinder. The festive final attracted an especially large number of spectators, so much so that Network 13 beat Keshet 12 in the ratings.

What’s happening in prime time

The competition for viewers between Network 13 and Keshet 12 is tough, but because most Israelis perceive Keshet 12 as a continuation of Channel 2, almost every evening Keshet 12 comes out on top while broadcasting prime-time programs. Recently, Network 13 managed to get closer to Keshet’s viewing percentage, with the program “The Next Restaurant”, but what happened last night is already a serious change.

Usually when a reality show is broadcast on a commercial channel, the corresponding channel broadcasts a program aimed at an audience looking for quality programs, such as a certificate and investigations. Despite this, Keshet 12 decided to go into battle, and broadcast the first part of the semi-finals of “Dancing with the Stars” in front of the survival final yesterday.

The dance competition is one of Keshet’s most popular programs, as it is attended by quite a few well-known and beloved celebrities, whose fans and followers watch the program with devotion. There has been quite a bit of criticism of the final season of Survival, as the season stretched over over 50 episodes, causing it to lose viewers and audiences.

The battle for the spectators ended with the following data: Dancing with the stars of Keshet 12 Grapha 14.8 percent of the spectators in Israel, which is about 356,000 spectators, and opposite the final of Keshet 12 Graph 17.2 percent of the viewers in Israel who are about 458,000 viewers.

Recall that the data is collected using the “People Meter” method, so that only 700 homes in Israel that represent the diversity of the Israeli population have a converter that monitors the viewing data, and according to the data obtained from there, the general viewing data is calculated.
