Federal Minister of Communications said that the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway should be made barrier-free, print and electronic media should be used to inform the public. Motorways shall be barrier-free for all vehicles.
The federal minister said that the N-25 highway worth 150 billion rupees will be completed in phases in Balochistan. The Balochistan government should also be taken into confidence regarding the orders.
The Federal Minister of Communications directed to install live cameras on highways and construction projects and said that all the projects should be included on the codedash board to report to the Prime Minister.
Abdul Aleem Khan directed NHA for third party evaluation of road repair projects and said that highways and motorways are national assets, future needs should be kept in mind, priority should be given to the construction of such roads which are economically viable. can benefit
The meeting also deliberated on the construction of other highways connected to CPEC, Federal Secretary Communications, Chairman NHA and senior officers briefed the meeting on various projects.
