Review of 2020 sports season calendar at the center of a remote meeting of the Arab Karate Union
Rabat – The board of directors of the Arab Karate Union recently held a meeting via videoconference dedicated to discussing the calendar and programs of the sports body for the 2020 season.
Several issues concerning the discipline were discussed, including the suspension of activities due to precautionary measures to stem the coronavirus pandemic, the Arab Karate Union said in a statement published on its website.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the Union’s agenda and programs for the 2020 sports season, which includes a training session for coaches (Kata, kumite) as well as training for referees (Kata, kumite), the statement said.
During this meeting, it was agreed to organize a training session for women in sports management and two sessions on sports medicine and physical preparation of athletes, according to the same source.
