Avon Introduces Vitamin C Body Care Line for Radiant Skin from Head to Toe
Avon, the well-known beauty brand, has unveiled a new lineup of vitamin C body products designed to bring the glow-boosting benefits of this powerful ingredient to the rest of the body. The Anew Vitamin C collection includes the Glow Body Scrub, Nourishing Body Butter, and Illuminating Body Serum, all formulated to revive and refresh dull skin.
Vitamin C has long been praised for its ability to brighten the skin, even out skin tone, and neutralize free radicals. Shirley Lawson, Avon’s skin-care brand marketing manager, explains that the brand wanted to extend these radiance-boosting benefits to the entire body. “Who doesn’t want healthy, glowing skin from head to toe?” she says.
Beyond its brightening powers, vitamin C also has other benefits. According to Azza Halim, MD, a board-certified anesthesiologist specializing in aesthetic medicine and anti-aging treatments, vitamin C in a scrub helps to loosen dead skin cells on the surface and promote the growth of healthy cells. As part of a moisturizer, it can help brighten and tighten the skin.
Each product in the Anew Vitamin C collection is formulated with additional targeted active ingredients. The body scrub uses biodegradable sugar crystals and a blend of papaya and pineapple enzymes to exfoliate the skin. The body butter contains niacinamide to tighten pores and improve tone, while the body serum includes vitamin E to fight free radical damage and vitamin-rich sunflower seed oil to moisturize and reduce redness and irritation.
The Anew Vitamin C trio is dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic, and free of parabens, phthalates, and mineral oil, making it suitable for all skin types.
