Tamra Judge Addresses ‘Real Housewives’ Drama, calls for “New Blood” in Season 20

Bravo’s flagship series, the Real Housewives of orange County, is bracing for significant changes as cast dynamics shift and a shakeup is anticipated for season 20.

Tamra Judge recently addressed swirling rumors and ongoing feuds within the Real Housewives franchise during a December 23 episode of her podcast, “My Friend, My Soulmate, My podcast,” alongside co-host Vicki Gunvalson. The conversation spanned accusations of stolen storylines, potential cast departures, and fractured friendships, offering a glimpse into the complex relationships that define the reality television landscape.

Orange County Allegations and Cast Speculation

The discussion began with Judge responding to claims made by Crystal Kung-Minkoff regarding a storyline allegedly “stolen” by Gunvalson from another Real Housewives of Orange County star. According to Judge, she promptly reached out to Kung-Minkoff for clarification. “I reached out, and I said, ‘Was it my ora

I was there for her and we walked the red carpet at BravoCon and she thanked us and did all the stuff and then I found out that she was saying some pretty horrible things about me,” Judge explained. “Like, wait a minute. I’m doing all this for you. That’s not cool.” This betrayal led Judge to distance herself from Beador, even as thay were contractually obligated to film together.

Judge admitted that labeling Beador a “drunk” was “not nice,” but attributed her frustration to Beador’s unwillingness to take responsibility for her actions. “You know how hard it is indeed to talk to somebody who will not own anything that they’ve done – no part of it?” she asked. “It’s like, the only reason I’m upset with you and not talking to you is as you were doing horrible things behind my back when I was trying to be nothing but a good friend for 10 years.”

Blame and the Tres Amigas Tour

Gunvalson interjected, noting that Judge herself had been “mean” at times, acknowledging that conflict is inherent in long-term participation on the show. “I think if you’ve been on the show for a certain, long period of time, you’re gonna be mean to people once in a while. You’re gonna get in fights with people,” Judge conceded.

Judge also clarified that she wasn’t the source of the conflict between Gunvalson and herself, attributing it to Beador’s divisive tactics. “I do not turn on [Vicki]. It was Shannon.Let’s be honest. Shannon was doing what she normally does. she divides and conquers and does all the things and tries to separate people,” she stated.

The podcast also touched upon the cancellation of the “Tres Amigas” tour featuring Judge, Gunvalson, and Beador, which judge attributed to concerns about Beador’s well-being following her DUI arrest. “I was more concerned about her, like, this isn’t a good thing. To maybe just take a beat and kind of absorb what just happened to you, so I was just thinking of business mind, like is that really what you want to do?” she reasoned. “It was fun while it lasted.”

Looking Ahead: A Call for Fresh Faces

As The Real Housewives of Orange County prepares for its 20th season, Judge emphasized the need for “new blood.” “We need new blood,” she declared, adding that Bravo has already announced plans for a significant cast overhaul. Filming for season 20 is expected to begin early next year, signaling a new chapter for the long-running reality series.
