More than 15 thousand girls and boys of the huasteca received from the Governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo Cardonaschool supplies, backpacks and shoes, support that contributes to strengthening education in the four regions, in addition to encouraging the effort and dedication of students, which guarantees their permanence in schools and combats school dropouts.

In the morning, the State Governor went to the town of Nexcuayo, Matlapa, to the Narciso Mendoza bilingual school, where in front of hundreds of students, mothers and fathers and teachers, he stressed that in San Luis Potosí one of the most important priorities is education, which is why his Government is fighting school dropouts and educational backwardness with this program, which also benefits the family economy by reducing expenses when returning to school.

Later, from Tamazunchale, the Head of the Executive Branch delivered school supplies as part of the “Potosí for Education” program that will provide a direct benefit to 11,591 students throughout the southern Huasteca, which reflects more support for the family economy of 41,727 indirect beneficiaries.

To boost mobility in the region, Gallardo Cardona inaugurated the renovated Tanquián de Escobedo-San Martín Chalchicuautla highway, with a public investment of 300 million pesos, benefiting more than 19 thousand inhabitants of neighboring communities and municipalities.

The rescue work on the Tanquián de Escobedo-San Martín Chalchicuautla highway in Huasteca required an investment of 300 million pesos, during which more than 228,800 square meters of pavement were changed and signage was placed for the road safety of users along 35.2 kilometers.

This work is part of the strategy contemplated by the current administration to address the abandonment of roads and streets by the cursed inheritance and generate connectivity in the Entity that strengthens traffic safety and increases the value of businesses and homes of the people of San Luis Potosí.
