Ricardo Martins Pereira Claps Back at Cláudio Ramos’ Criticism: ‘Dangerous to Conform Opinions’

by time news

Ricardo Martins Pereira did not remain indifferent to Cláudio Ramos’ criticisms and responded accordingly.

Cláudio Ramos pointed out several criticisms regarding how Susana Dias Ramos and Ricardo Martins Pereira received Daniela Santos in the final of Dilema.

What I don’t think is fair, is that… but I really don’t think, neither in this game, nor in any game, neither in mine nor in any, is that contestants come out of the house where they’ve been for so long and have two people attacking them upon exit. I don’t agree with that. (…) Two commentators of the gala, say this?! I don’t agree,” shot Cláudio Ramos.

Ricardo Martins Pereira has already reacted to the criticisms and answered Cláudio Ramos on his social media.

“Cláudio Ramos is mistaken here. I think Cláudio Ramos is against this format. Cláudio Ramos does not think a contestant should sit in front of two commentators who analyze the game”, began the gala commentator of Dilema.

“Cláudio Ramos should speak with the TVI management to prevent this from happening, to not put a contestant in front of two commentators, that’s the only option. Because obviously Cláudio Ramos cannot mold the commentators’ opinion in relation to a contestant’s game. We’re talking about someone’s game”, he added.

“The role of the commentator is not to be empathetic. My stance, at least, is to be fair, to be polite, to be cordial, to be straightforward, saying what needs to be said respectfully. It seems to me that this is what I have done throughout all the galas”, emphasized Ricardo Martins Pereira.

In the caption of the post, ‘Arrumadinho’ left some more messages to the TVI presenter: “Cláudio Ramos thinks that Susana Dias Ramos and I “attacked” Daniela in the last gala. I disagree. I do not see myself in that. And I think it’s dangerous to want to format who gives an opinion, so that we all have to fit into a box that someone thinks is correct. I am and will always be for freedom of opinion, whoever it may be, and I will always fight for anyone’s right to say what they think even if it is at odds with my opinion. Cláudio, as a professional commentator for decades, and as a free and straightforward man he has always been (and whom I admire so much) has to agree with that.”
