The former president of the National Assembly (2018-2022) Richard Ferrand, close to Emmanuel Macron, was appointed head of the Elsan supervisory board on Friday July 12, Agence France-Presse learned from the first French association of institutions private hospital.
Co-founder of En Marche! (di La République en marche), Mr. Ferrand, who is 62 years old, was deputy from 2012 to 2022, and temporary minister of regional unity in 2017. The Elsan Group has 212 centers and establishments spread across 60 sectors, caring for 4.9 million patients each year.
