Christina and Richard Lugner married on July 13, 1991. Their daughter was born in 1993. Before that, the building contractor had already been married three times. His fifth marriage to Cathy “Spatzi” Lugner lasted from 2014 to 2016. The 34-year-old also said goodbye to her late ex-husband in an Instagram post. “When I received the tragic news of your death this morning, I was paralyzed with shock,” she wrote. “Richard, you seemed immortal to me too.”
On June 1, 2024, Richard Lugner married for the sixth time. He married his partner Simone “Bienchen” Reiländer in Vienna. In October 2021, the two had already been engaged for a short time. At Easter 2024, they celebrated their love comeback. According to the “Kronen Zeitung”, a large church wedding was planned for the upcoming autumn on his 92nd birthday on October 11 in St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna.
