jpnn.comJAKARTA – Ridwan Kamil (RK) visited the residence of the former Governor of Jakarta Sutiyoso on Jalan Raya Kalimanggis, Jatikarya Village, Jatisampurna District, Bekasi City, West Java, Thursday morning.
The gubernatorial candidate for DKI Jakarta, wearing a white shirt covered with a cream-colored jacket, arrived at Sutiyoso’s residence at around 09.50 WIB.
Ridwan Kamil’s arrival was immediately greeted by Bang Yos – Sutiyoso’s nickname.
RK came to Bang Yos’ residence to socialize ahead of the Jakarta gubernatorial election on November 27, 2024.
Bang Yos immediately invited RK to visit his museum called the Bang Yos Museum.
In the museum, RK was taken on a tour by Bang Yos about his track record during his time as a TNI soldier, starting from attending the Military Academy (Akmil) from 1965-1968 to becoming Pangdam Jaya from 1996-1997.
Bang Yos also showed his photos during the GAM operation in Aceh in 1978 and the East Timor operation in 1975.
Not only that, RK was also invited to see photos of Bang Yos during his tenure as Governor of DKI Jakarta for two terms, namely 1997-2002 and 2002-2007 as well as photos of him during his tenure as Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) in 2015-2016.
