“I’m sure this will grow West Java’s economy multiplied and I will try to increase other SEZs like Lido,” said Kang Emil, his nickname when witnessing the inauguration of Lido City SEZ by Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), in Bogor Regency, Friday (31/3/2023).
Ridwan Kamil also said he was proud of the presence of the Lido City SEZ. Moreover, the scenery presented is very thick with the nuances of Tanah Pasundan.
“The president is also very proud, moreover, the scenery is also very beautiful, typical of West Java,” he said.
To note, Lido City SEZ has an area of 1,040 hectares which can be reached via the Jakarta-Bogor-Ciawi (Jagorawi) toll road and the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) toll road can be used by the community.
Meanwhile, President Jokowi revealed that the Lido City SEZ is supported by adequate infrastructure.
“The infrastructure that we have built, be it airports or toll roads, has seen the benefits of being used by the private sector,” said Jokowi.
“So that it provides maximum benefits according to what we want. If we look at it now, the Jagorawi and Bocimi Toll Roads are for KEK Lido,” said Jokowi.
The President said finding a beautiful location with a natural feel of mountains typical of West Java, such as the Lido SEZ, was somewhat difficult.
“It’s hard to find a location like this in Lido,” he said.
