jpnn.comJAKARTA – Secretary of the Jakarta Golkar Party DPD, Basri Baco, said that the candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) will campaign happily.
The winning team promised that the campaign would be carried out without bringing down other candidate pairs so as to improve the quality of democracy in Indonesia.
“We ensure that there is no black campaign or divisive politics. RIDO will compete fairly,” said Basri Baco in his statement, Tuesday (24/9).
According to him, RIDO and the Winning Team will work together to absorb the aspirations of the people.
“RIDO believes in the importance of public participation and collaboration in finding joint solutions,” he said.
The Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD said that the RIDO pair had started to listen to input from the grassroots.
In fact, the RIDO couple also accommodates the hopes of the disabled in Jakarta. He claims that the RIDO couple is very pro-poor.
“They are very rarely heard. Then, if you look at how RIDO came to the KPUD using ojol, I think it is very clear that they are biased towards the lower classes,” he said.(mcr4/jpnn)
