Riley Keough, the granddaughter of music icon Elvis Presley, has been named the sole trustee of the estate of her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley. The appointment was approved during a hearing before Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Lynn Healey Scaduto on Friday.

Keough, who is known for her role in the TV series “Daisy Jones & the Six,” filed a 73-page petition on June 12 in support of her bid to head what the family has called the Promenade Trust. She had previously reached a settlement agreement with her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, and Michael Lockwood, the guardian ad litem for her two younger half-siblings, Harper and Finley Lockwood.

As the trustee, the 34-year-old Keough, whose real name is Danielle Riley Keough, will also oversee the sub-trusts for her half-sisters. Priscilla Presley will serve as a special adviser to the trust and receive a monthly payment for her role. Additionally, Priscilla Presley will be allowed to be buried at Graceland, the former home of Elvis Presley in Memphis, Tennessee, which Keough now owns.

Lisa Marie Presley passed away on January 12 at the age of 54. She had been hospitalized after suffering cardiac arrest at her Los Angeles residence. The autopsy report stated that her cause of death was attributed to complications from bariatric surgery she underwent years ago.

The news of Riley Keough being appointed as the trustee of her mother’s estate marks a new chapter in the legacy of the Presley family.
