Realme has announced Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro in China. These are a pair of phones that are probably the brand’s first real flagship phones: including the use of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the newest and most powerful processor that Qualcomm currently offers.
Brilmi emphasized the design of the series, which is made of polymer materials that give a feeling of paper, for the first time in the field of cellular. While the appearance of the devices is different from the simulated leaks, the company says that the polymer developed in collaboration with design studio Naoto Fukusawa offers the same structural integrity as other materials only in lighter weight and higher durability.
The Realme GT 2 Pro is equipped with a 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED screen that offers a dynamic refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz and 2K resolution and 50% battery saving compared to the previous AMOLED panel. This is a flat screen that is not concave at its edges, with Gorilla Glass Victus. The working memory is 8 or 12 GB, with 128, 256 or 512 GB of built-in file storage.
In the cameras section, the device offers a main camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels, a width camera on which it is equipped with a 50 megapixel sensor and offers an extremely wide angle of 150 degrees, and a third camera which is a periscope camera capable of magnifying objects up to 40 times. -Ampere / hour with fast charging support with a power of up to 65 watts, but without support for wireless charging.
The GT 2 comes with the processor from the beginning of last year, the Snapdragon 888, and is still quite impressive. Its screen is slightly smaller, 6.62 inches, and the camera set still includes the same main camera, but a width camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels and no periscope lens. Both devices come with the Android 12 operating system, on which the Realme UI 3.0 interface has been installed.
The Realme GT 2 Pro will be available for purchase in China for a starting price of about $ 600, in green, white, blue and black. The GT 2 will be sold at a starting price of about $ 400. No details about global launch yet.
