Based on Olga Winget’s bestseller “Where the wormwood grows”, a series will be shot.

The story “about overcoming the fear of death for the sake of love” was announced, where “mysticism acts as a metaphor for deep adolescent fears and problems.”

The main character is Ulyana, a tenth grader, who makes a deal with a witch. In exchange for the things of three dead friends of the girl, the sorceress will save the life of her mother, and the heroine “ceases to see the death of loved ones.” Ultimately, Ulyana realizes that she needs to defeat the witch.

The screen version of the mystical thriller will be released at the KION online cinema in 2022 in the original “movie story” format – 6 episodes of 15 minutes each.

Cast: Victoria Agalakova, Rinal Mukhametov, Artem Tkachenko, Sabina Akhmedova, Illarion Marov and others.
