New Delhi: The Duleep Trophy 2024 season is going to be explosive. The four teams of the tournament are full of big players. Senior players like captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and R Ashwin have been exempted, while Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill will play in the Duleep Trophy. However, batsman Rinku Singh was not included in the team for the Duleep Trophy, which surprised everyone. When he was asked about this, he replied very politely. In first class cricket, Rinku has played 47 matches and scored 3173 runs at a strike rate of 71.59. He has scored 7 centuries and 20 half-centuries.

T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav, who played one Test against Australia in 2023. Apart from Surya, other players have confirmed their place in the team. The Indian players had to play only one match and hence Kohli, Rohit, Bumrah and Ashwin were exempted. India are scheduled to play two Test matches against Bangladesh. These matches will be held in Chennai from September 19 and in Kanpur from September 27.
