Rio de Janeiro has 17 beaches released for swimming this weekend; see the list – News

The Inea (State Environmental Institute) bulletin, released this Friday (5), releases 17 beaches for bathers in Rio this weekend.

The agency warned that bathing in the sea should be avoided within 24 hours after the occurrence of rain and near the exit of stormwater galleries or drainage channels.

See the list of beaches released in the Fluminense capital:

– South zone: Pepino, São Conrado, Vidigal, Leblon (except in front of Rua Afrânio de Melo Franco), Ipanema (except in front of Rua Paul Redefern), Arpoador, Diabo, Copacabana, Leme, Vermelha and Urca.

– West zone: Barra de Guaratiba, Grumari, Prainha, Pontal de Sernambetiba (except in front of the Sernambetiba canal), Recreio, Barra da Tijuca (except in front of the 2nd Grouping of the Fire Department and Rua Sargento João de Faria) .

On the other hand, diving is not recommended on the beaches of Botafogo, Flamengo and Joatinga.

Niterói

In Niterói, in the metropolitan area, the recommended beaches are: Boa Viagem, Flechas (except in front of Rua Nilo Peçanha), Icaraí (except in front of Rua Otávio Carneiro and Mariz e Barros), São Francisco (except in front of Rua Caraíbas ), Charitas (except on the right side of Clube Naval de Charitas), Adão, Piratininga, Sossego, Camboinhas, Itaipu and Itacoatiara.

The beaches of Gragoatá, Jurujuba and Eva are considered unsuitable.
