Jakarta: 127 killed in football stadium violence in Indonesia
Local football matches are underway in Indonesia. Arema team and Persepaia Surabaya clashed in the match that took place yesterday (Saturday) in East Java.
In this, Persibiya team won with the score of 3-2. After about 10 years, the Arema team failed and the fans entered the stadium in anger. This led to riots. To bring the violence under control, the police fired teargas canisters. The media reported that 127 people were killed and more than 150 injured in the riots.
Regarding the riots, the police said, “So far 127 people have been killed in this incident. It has been reported that 2 policemen are also buried in this. A riot at a football stadium has left 127 people dead and has created tension in Indonesia.
