As the cutouts of the favorite characters are raised in each village, each sports fan tries to raise the cutouts bigger than the previously raised cutouts. This time it was owned by the Kollakotts. The people of Kollangkot unanimously say that Cristiano Ronaldo is taller than any cutout raised in Kozhikode Pullavur Puzha, Wayanad and Malappuram.
This time the tallest cutout is near the Kuruvikoot tree on the Kollangode-Pollachi road. A huge 120 feet tall cutout of Cristiano has been erected in the Kollangode Finmart Company compound. The company itself is behind the cutout. The huge cutout came up on Saturday night. After several days of preparations, the fans raised the cutout of their favorite player in celebration after 10 pm on Saturday night.
The fans are also excited when Portugal gets the wins. And the fact that Cristiano already holds the record of being the first male player to score in all five World Cups makes fans excited. Fans claim that the 120-foot cutouts are the largest in the world. The company claimed that this cutout of Cristiano staring off into the distance has already made it to the Asia Guinness Book of Records. MLA K Babu cut the cake and inaugurated the cutout, creating excitement. Kollangode Panchayat President K Satyapal, Mudalamada Panchayat President Baby Sudha, other people’s representatives, Fingroup MD Rajitha, General Manager Vysakh. and hundreds of fans of Cristiano attended the event.
