This figure represents an increase of 2% compared to the value set for this Sunday. In this way, the value of Monday will be the third lowest since the Russian invasion began, only behind the 154.7 euros/MWh registered last Friday, and the 159.33 euros/MWh on Saturday.

The maximum value on Monday will be recorded between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and will be 270.2 euros/MWh, while the minimum will reach 55.1 euros/MWh between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., according to data from the Operator of the Iberian Electricity Market (OMIE).

After this rise, the price of electricity triples the amount registered just one year ago, when it was paid at 52.01 euros/MWh, although it is 21% below the figures for last February 24, when the war in Ukraine.

So far this month, the average price of electricity has reached 216.69 euros/MWh, almost 70 euros below the average registered during March (283.3 euros/MWh), the most expensive in history to date. date, and almost doubles the price of 2021, which was crowned as the most burdensome year in the historical series with 111.4 euros/MWh.
