India won the T20 series against Sri Lanka 2-0 in a whitewash. Sehwane did his job in the series in all aspects of batting, wicket-keeping, DRS pick-up and also won the Rishabh Pund Series Man of the Match award for his key role in helping India win the series.

Rishabh Pund, who scored 185 runs at a strike rate of 120.12 in the Test series against Sri Lanka, also became the fastest batsman to score a fifty in 28 balls in the 2nd Test.

Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pund has become the first Indian wicketkeeper to win the Man of the Series Test series against Sri Lanka.
No Indian wicketkeeper has ever won the Man of the Series award in a Test series before. Former legend wicketkeeper Dhoni, who has played in 90 Tests, has never won a Man of the Series award. Rishabh Pund has won the Man of the Series award, having played in only 30 Tests.
Former Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist has previously won the Man of the Series award three times in the Test series.
