Britain’s prime minister has abandoned a televised debate between the candidates. The decision was made after the anchor collapsed. Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss, who are contesting to replace Prime Minister Boris Johnson, were discussing on the ‘Talk TV’ channel when the anchor fainted.
The incident followed a half-hour long debate on various issues including taxation, the rising cost of living and funding for the National Health Service. Talk TV said in a statement that presenter Kate Mack has decided to leave the debate despite her condition being stable.
