Rishon Lezion will celebrate its 140th anniversary with a huge festival on the Sukkot holiday

The Rishon LeZion Festival will be held this year in celebration of the 140th anniversary of Rishon LeZion – the fourth largest city in Israel.

As part of the celebrations, the festival will salute the artists who make up the Israeli soundtrack, with a huge variety of original productions and intriguing shows in unique combinations, in which over 100 artists and creators will participate.

The leading original production of the festival is a show for the late Eric Einstein, one of the greatest Israeli artists. The show, made in collaboration with the Einstein family, will feature (in order A-B): Esther Rada, Berry Sakharof, David D’Or, Dekla, Yuval Dayan , Yoni Rechter, Church of the Mind, Miki Gabrielov, Idan Amadi, Amir Banyon, Shira Gabrielov and Shlomi Shabat.

The late Einstein is the epitome of the story of Israeli music, from the military band through the “Gesher Yarkon Trio”, the “High Windows” to his solo career in which he collaborated with the greatest writers and musicians in Israel. He recorded hundreds of songs that were released on dozens of masterpiece albums, and which became an integral part From the Israeli soundtrack.

In an evening full of a unique and unique source production for the festival, we will celebrate Einstein’s work, with a special emphasis on the songs he wrote. The artists will be accompanied by the Rishon LeZion Israeli Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ilan Mokhin, a group of musicians and video works in an evening full of love and longing for the man and his works.

The Rishon Lezion Festival celebrates 20 years of work for Shimon Buskila, one of the best, quality and finest singers in Israel. Buskila is a brilliant creator who has signed on to compose a significant number of songs that entered the soundtrack of Israeli music. We will celebrate him and him in a spectacular production full of guests and companions who played an important part in the musical stages of his life, including Shlomo Artzi, Marina Maximilian and Kobi Apallo.

A huge show full of soul, rhythm, joy and exciting performances as only Buskila can perform. Buskila will perform, accompanied by first-class musicians, his greatest songs and songs he composed for other singers since he broke into the Israeli music world.

The Rishon LeZion Festival will mark the tour where Danny Sanderson – the essence and essence of Israeli rock and roll and one of the most influential and important figures in Israeli music – celebrates 55 years of creativity in a huge sunset show with celebratory guests: Gidi Gov, Aviv Gefen and Hadag Nahsh.
