Rising prices for condominiums in Berlin

by time news

Berlin – Condominiums that are more than four years old have increased in price by around six percent in Berlin over the past year. This emerges from an investigation by the real estate portal Immowelt, which was published on Tuesday. According to this, the asking prices for so-called existing apartments in Berlin rose on average from 4420 euros per square meter in 2020 to 4700 euros per square meter of living space in 2021. Compared to other cities, Immowelt speaks of a “moderate increase”. Berlin remains “rather cheap” for a capital. In Potsdam, the prices of 4590 euros per square meter have now almost reached the Berlin level. The increase in the Brandenburg state capital corresponds to an increase of around 19 percent.
