The daughter of the late actor Aianda Manthopoulos will compete in the Paralympic Games and is departing for Paris tomorrow.

The 19-year-old daughter of Aianda Manthopoulos, Lida, discovered about a year ago that she suffers from multiple sclerosis and is expected to compete in the 100 meters at the Paralympics on August 31. It should be noted that the Paralympic Games will take place from August 28 to September 8 in the City of Light.

The athlete, speaking on the show “Perimeter,” mentioned that during the time she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, it was very difficult at first because it took her a significant amount of time to realize what was happening to her body.

“I hesitated at first but then I got back on the field. There was a lot of pain. My daily life changed a lot. I gradually got back on the field, I was quite hesitant at first but it’s something I enjoy, I love it, and I will continue. Nothing will keep me down,” she emphatically stated.

Finally, according to her coach, there is hope for great things and the goals are very high. It is reminded that her father passed away in October 2023 at the age of 61 after being hospitalized at the “Attikon” hospital.
