Walton-Crab Sports Festival-2024

The ‘Walton-Crab Sports Festival-2024’ is being organized by Bangladesh Crime Reporters Association (CRAB) under the auspices of Walton Hitech Industries PLC, a sports-friendly company.
Today, Wednesday (August 21), the carrom singles event of the sports festival was held. Maksudur Rahman, the senior reporter of RisingBD.com, became the champion in this event held at the Crab office. The runner-up was Ikramul Kabir Tipu of Eksar Dainik. Shahidul Islam of Bangladesh Times paper24.com was third. The game was managed by the senior member of Crab, Shahidul Islam. A total of 28 members participated in this event.
The final game of carrom singles was enjoyed by Crab General Secretary Sirajul Islam, Sports and Cultural Secretary Rakibul Islam Manik, Walton Senior Deputy Director Imran Al Bari and Senior Deputy Director Md. Sajjad Hossain and others.
There are a total of 11 disciplines and events in indoor and outdoor sports festival this year. Events include – Chess, Carrom, Speed Tram, Auction Bridge, Shooting, Marathon, Ludo, Football, Volleyball, Cricket and Badminton.
Apart from this, Walton is arranging a special prize for ten of the senior members who cannot participate in this year’s sports competition. Apart from this, Ludu game is being organized for the wives of the members.
Chess, Colbridge, Auction Bridge and Carrom single events have already been played. Carrom doubles event will be played tomorrow Thursday.
