According to Scaroni, today we are in a state of need and energy dependence also due to the choices of the Italians who have opposed everything. «I do not blame the delays on politics – he clarified – but the Italians who opposed everything, every time they tried to create a regasification plant, they opposed it. Making laws when there is a crowd in the square is complicated, we have seen it with the Tav and the Tap. The fellow citizens must realize that without infrastructures we have serious problems ».
Gas over 200 euros
Meanwhile, the price of gas continues to fly. In fact, a new record was reached for gas futures in Amsterdam, the benchmark for the price of gas in the Old Continent: the price of methane rose by 18%, closing for the first time above 200 euros per megawatt hour, at 227. ,2 euros. At the start of trading, gas had recorded a maximum rise of 79% and an all-time intraday high of 345 euros.
