Four barbarian tribes revived the depredations of the Roman Empire at Aquincum. The traditionalist groups, the early Germanic Norde Gard, the Sarmatian Pannonia Sarmatica, the Iron Age Celtic Szarvas Törzs and the Germanic Jaurinum, took turns to present their brutal barbaric shows and struggles, and then in the evening collapsed by the campfire and said goodbye to the bloodshed of the Romans. Shields split, epic music played, chicken legs were fried in brown beer, and then you could dance around the ritually gutted Roman prisoner of war together. Our photo report on the Barbarian Days.
