The demonstration against the legal reform continued tonight (Saturday) in full force and at the same time, on Channel 14 in an interview with the Minister of Justice and reformer Yariv Levin, in front of whose house a large demonstration of protest activists was already held on Saturday and he was very clear in his statements.

Levin explained clearly: “We plan to pass the reform even at the cost of reluctance and damage to the economy (as a result of the protest according to him). It is not possible for people who have money to determine for the entire country how to conduct themselves.”

He also added: “We built the schedules so that we can finish the main components in the current session, before Passover. There are many talks that are taking place, we must talk, there is room for certain changes and corrections. But we must not give up on the core principles of the reform.”

At the same time, Knesset member David Bitan was also invited to an interview and said clearly: “At the end of the day, it is possible to compromise on a part, there is a problem only in the committee for the appointment of judges and there we need to be more open and reach a compromise, because one of the main problems is that we are in the opposition and that there is only one representative in our favor, Judges are always appointed to the Supreme Court in any case. Without this bill we are lost”
