Falcao starts for Millonarios against River Plate
Alberto Gamero’s team traveled to Buenos Aires for the friendly duel before the start of the BetPlay League. The new magazines traveled in the delegation, including Falcao García who will make his debut in the Millonarios shirt after signing the contract until the end of the year.
The statistics so far show three confrontations between the two teams that history favors River Plate with the same number of victories. The last friendly duel was in January 2023 with a 2-0 victory for Argentina.
“It’s special, River is everything to me, he’s given me everything. I am very grateful. Coming back and starting my phase in Millonarios facing the River, it’s very nice and different because I’m on the other side,” said Radamel Falcao García about the duel.
Félix Charrupí, Juan José Ramírez, Jhon Córdoba, Daniel Mantilla and Jovani Welch are some of the new faces of the Gamero team for this duel and the second half of the BetPlay Series. In addition, Iván Arboleda will also compete for the starting goalkeeper position with Álvaro Montero.
