The Ministry of Health organizes the first national symposium on psychiatric nursing.. tomorrow
Tomorrow, Wednesday, the Ministry of Health will organize the first national symposium for mental health nursing under the slogan “Psychiatric Nursing: Challenges and Ambition”, at Irada and Mental Health Complex in Riyadh, with the participation of officials and specialists in the Kingdom.
The symposium will discuss the definition of the role of psychiatric nursing and the application of the nursing competence program, indicators and measures of psychiatric nursing, the elements of attraction to work in psychiatric nursing, clinical practices in mental health hospitals, and the future of psychiatric nursing.
This symposium is considered the first of its kind in the Kingdom as a specialized symposium for psychiatric nursing, in which participants are looking for ways to develop safe psychiatric nursing practice in line with national standards and the mental health care system.
Its organization confirms the role played by the nursing staff in the health sector, and in appreciation of their efforts in caring for patients, and that this specialization enjoys the attention and support of our rational government.
The symposium aims to unify and develop psychiatric nursing programs and protocols so that they are an advanced service based on evidence and evidence, develop qualifying and development programs for psychiatric nursing, find clinical indicators to improve the services provided, prepare safe psychiatric nursing protocols, exchange experiences between the participating sectors and benefit from specialists in the field of psychiatric nursing.
