Riyadh ∙ Saudiization is being implemented in the transport logistics sector. Through this, 23,000 jobs will be available to Saudis. In about 28 occupations, certain percentage of indigenization will be completed. This will also make Saudi a global logistics hub. It aims to increase the contribution of Saudi citizens in the logistics industry. The Minister of State for Transport Ahmed bin Sufyan Al-Hassan made this clear at the third Qasim Youth Empowerment Forum.
Several initiatives have been implemented in the country to increase citizen representation in the sector. Saudi Logistics Academy and Saudi Railway Technical Institute are important in this. 450 people have currently graduated from the Logistics Academy.
