jpnn.comJAKARTA – The prospective candidate pair for mayor and deputy mayor of South Tangerang, Ahmad Riza Patria-Marshel Widianto, are supported by the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) for the 2024 South Tangerang Pilkada.

Previously, Riza-Marshel were supported by the Gerindra Party. Both have also received support from the NasDem Party.

“In South Tangerang City, (a letter of recommendation for) Mr. Ahmad Riza and Mr. Marshel,” said PSI General Chair Kaesang Pangarep when giving a letter of recommendation to Riza-Marshel at the PSI DPP Office, Jakarta, Thursday morning.

After being officially supported by PSI, Riza ensured that he and Marshel would fight fully in the South Tangerang Pilkada.

He also admitted that he was ready to continue the development of South Tangerang under the leadership of the president and vice president elect, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Previously, Monday (8/7), the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, admitted that his party was ready to win the South Tangerang City Pilkada by supporting the pair of former Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria and celebrity Marshel Widianto.

“Yes, it’s called a contest, right? We are ready to win, ready to lose,” said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday.

He said that the Riza-Marshel pair had been confirmed to be running in the South Tangerang City Pilkada and had received recommendations from a number of political parties.

The prospective candidate pair for mayor and deputy mayor of South Tangerang (Tangsel) Ahmad Riza Patria-Marshel Widianto are supported by PSI for the Tangsel Pilkada.
