The road from Farmgate to Shahbagh via Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue has almost come to a standstill till the writing of this report (3 pm) due to road blockade.

The 6-point demand of the agitators is that all craft instructors appointed in the year 2021 should be removed from the Directorate of Technical Education and all institutions immediately. None other than Diploma Engineers can apply and Assistant Engineers and equivalent posts should be reserved for Diploma Engineers. Technical sector management cannot have any non-technical manpower.
