The first closing time will be this Saturday, August 31, for the 5K distance, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., when the finish line is expected to arrive.
5K Distance
The route begins leaving Parques del Río heading north on Calle 43, to head east to reach Carrera 45 and then south to Avenida 33, take Carrera 51 to connect with Carrera 48, continue south on Calle 24 to turn around on the same Carrera 48, then Carrera 57 and take the exit to the roundabout on Avenida 33 towards Carrera 62 and end at Parques del Río.
Sunday, September 1st
For the 10K, 21K and 42K tests, (running y handcycle), on Sunday, September 1, the closing time will be between 5:00 am and 11:00 am (arrival time of the last person at the finish line).
Distance 42K
The 42K route starts at Parques del Río with section closures on Calle 44 with Avenida San Juan, Calzada Sur, Carrera 55, Avenida del Ferrocarril, Avenida 80 and Carrera 70 up to the Calzada Sur of Calle 30.
Continue east on Carrera 48, then south to Calle 26, west to Carrera 62 with Avenida Regional, where you take the eastern road south to Calle 7. At this point you return on the same road north to Calle 26, to again access the western road of Carrera 48, Avenida Las Vegas south to Calle 12 Sur, where you change to the eastern road of Carrera 48 to Calle 18C Sur, on the border with Envigado.
The route leaves from Medellín heading south to reach Calle 77 Sur in Sabaneta, passing through Envigado returning north along Carrera 48 to Calle 50 Sur, continuing to the border with Medellín on Calle 18C Sur, continuing north to the western carriageway of Carrera 51 (Bolívar) to the north, southern carriageway of Calle 44, Avenida San Juan to Carrera 58 to enter the finish area.
Distance 21K
Regarding the 21K test of running y handcyclethe departure will be in Parques del Río heading North to 43rd Street, from the East to 58th Street, to go North to 44th Street (San Juan Avenue) and continue East to 55th Street, Ferrocarril Avenue, making a U-turn to take the northbound lane of 44th Street. Continue along this same lane to the West to 80th Avenue, eastern lane, then along this lane to the South to 70th Street to take the eastern lane of 70th Street to the southbound lane of 30th Street; continuing East from the western lane of 48th Street, along this lane to the South to 4th Street South, where it returns along the eastern lane of 48th Street to the North to the eastern lane of 51st Street (Bolívar), then North to 44th Street (south lane) to 58th Street where it enters the finish area.
10K Distance
The 10K race starts at Parque de los Pies Descalzos heading north to Calle 43, turning east to the western lane of Carrera 55, then heading south to Calle 33, to access the roundabout and continue against the traffic on Avenida Industriales until it meets Carrera 48 and to Calle 1 Sur to return north along the eastern lane, from Carrera 48 to the eastern lane of Carrera 51 (Bolívar), then north to Calle 44, Calzada Sur and Carrera 58 to reach the finish line.
